This is one of Mayer-Johnson's new communication books, spiral bound, about four and a half by three inches.  This is for a shopping trip.

Simon's trip book has his bus pass, his I.D., his swimming pass, cue cards and money.

These custom cards may be used with a (PECS) choice program, or for an outing or trip book, or for an expressive system for your child.  Cards can also be used for a schedule.  I can use Mayer-Johnson icons, other drawings, photos, store and restaurant icons, anything that your child can relate to.  What we use will depend on your child's functioning level, and preferences.  We can make these cards custom sized.  For instance, these cards could be made business card sized and fit in a nice holder that can be purchased at Office Depot.  Or the cards can fit into baseball card holders and go into a three ring binder.  Or these cards can be laminated and could have a hole punched so they can be kept on a ring.  Or they can have velcro on the back.
